- Center for Safer Wireless – Virginia, United States
The Center for Safer Wireless (formerly Mom for Safe Wireless) is a nonprofit organization whose main goal is to educate individuals about the potential health effects of wireless products. The nonprofit has a special focus on children using cell phones due to the unknown consequences around the long-term use of cell phones and the concern that growing children may be more sensitive and susceptible to the effects of electromagnetic fields.
- Electrosensitivity UK – England
Electrosensitivity UK, or ES-UK is a charity organization that aims to support electrosensitive individuals and to educate the public on the health risks of electromagnetic radiation. ES-UK works with doctors and scientists to understand more about EHS. The organization publishes a newsletter about once per quarter, which may be downloaded from the organization website.
- The International EMF Project
Established by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1996, the International EMF project was created to assess the scientific evidence of possible health effects of EMF in the 0 to 300 GHz frequency range. The project is a collaborative effort composed of 8 international organizations, 8 collaborating institutions, and 54 national authorities.
- Microwave News – New York, United States
Microwave News is an independent organization that has been reporting on the health and environmental impacts of electromagnetic fields and radiation since 1981. The organization publishes regular articles reporting on the subject and overs the entire non-ionizing electromagnetic spectrum, with an emphasis on power lines, radar and broadcast towers, and cellular technology.
- Swedish Association for the Electrohypersensitive – Sweden
The Swedish Association for the Electrohypersensitive is an independent association of victims of EHS that have been injured by EMF. The union includes 3,000 active members and is part of the Swedish Disability Federation (Handikappförbundens SamarbetsOrgan; HSO). The association provides support to affected member and their relatives and works towards educating people and influencing society to invest in research and development in order to help those afflicted with EHS.
- WEEP – Canada
WEEP is a Canadian Initiative to stop wireless, electric, and electromagnetic pollution. WEEP aims to inform the public about the potential environmental effects associated with various forms of electric and electromagnetic emissions. WEEP works to disseminate information on how EMF affects people and the environment and advocates the precautionary principle with respect to electromagnetic activity.
- Working Group for EHS – Germany
Arbeitskreis für Elektrosensible (Working Group for EHS) is an association whose main goals are to assist those who are EHS, to disseminate information to doctors and medical practitioners and anyone else interested, and to raise public awareness regarding the possible dangers of electromagnetic radiation and high frequency devices.
